The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has announced the election of its new office bearers for the term 2025-2026.  

In the 393rd meeting held in Karachi, Saif Ullah was unanimously elected as president, with Muhammad Awais and Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui taking on the roles of vice presidents. 

Saif Ullah, a fellow member of ICAP, brings more than two decades of experience from Rafaqat Babar & Co, and Chartered Accountants as an audit and assurance partner.  

His expertise spans assurance engagements, cost and internal auditing, and financial planning. Ullah has previously served as a council member and vice president for ICAP. 

Muhammad Awais, also a fellow member of ICAP, is the office managing partner at EY Ford Rhodes in Lahore and has held various leadership roles within ICAP’s committees.  

He has contributed to the fiscal law and tax sectors, as well as serving a term as president of the Lahore Tax Bar Association. 

Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui, with a background in finance, currently serves as finance director and CFO at Oxford University Press in Pakistan.  

His previous roles include CFO positions at Linde Pakistan Limited and Siemens Pakistan.  

He started his career as assistant manager Audit at AF Ferguson. 

With more than 25 years of experience, he is a fellow member of ICAP and has furthered his education at Harvard Business School, Said Business School, Babson, Duke University, and Lahore University of Management Sciences. 

He is also a certificated director under the Corporate Governance Code of Pakistan. 

In October 2024, ICAP hosted the fourth edition of the CFO Conference Middle East in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

The region hosted previous conferences in 2015, 2016, and 2023.
