The independent regulatory board for auditors (IRBS) has appointed Nitasha Naicker as its director of operations.

Naicker returns to South Africa from Canada where she previously held the position of TII Training Innovations. She has had twenty years of experience in as a senior leader working with teams in audit, finance, risk, project management and HR.

IRBA said that it is ‘fortunate to have someone of Nitasha’s calibre and skill set to help drive internal business improvement initiatives while also understanding the IRBA’s role in public protection and its mandate to drive high audit quality and standards’.
