The Financial Accounting Foundation has
appointed four new members to its board of trustees for a five year
term, commencing January 2011.
John Davidson, Stephen Howe, Mack Lawhon and
Mary Stone have each been appointed to the board because of their
experience in issues affecting financial reporting.
Davidson is senior vice president, controller
and chief accounting officer of Tyco International with more than
30 years of experience in leadership roles.
Howe is an Americas managing partner at Ernst
& Young and previously served as an audit partner for various
institution clients.
Lawhon is a chairman for Weaver’s Board of
Partners and Stone is a director and chair of accountancy at
Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration at the
University of Alabama. She is a former member of the Financial
Accounting Standards advisory council.
