The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (the association) has named Kimberly N. Ellison-Taylor as its new chairman.
The global association was formed earlier this year by the members of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), although both CIMA and AICPA are adamant their organisations are not merging.
As current global accounting strategy director for Oracle America and chairman of the AICPA, Ellison-Taylor will work closely with David Stanford, the recently elected president of CIMA and vice chairman of the association. Ellison-Taylor has served on the AICPA board for five years.
The chairmanship rotates between the chairman of the AICPA and the president of CIMA for a one year term. Ellison-Taylor succeeds Andrew Miskin, the immediate-past president of CIMA.
