The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Trinity Business School of Trinity College Dublin in Ireland have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) partnership agreement to enhance technical, ethical and digital expertise.
The ACCA and Trinity Business School intend to collaborate on programmes relating to business analytics, big data, strategy, innovation and emerging technologies. The agreement will create professional development courses exclusively for ACCA members focusing on emerging technologies and the use of big data in accounting and finance, as well as creating a Master of Business Administration (MBA) entry pathway and an MBA fee bursary for the ACCA.
ACCA Ireland president John Gaynor said: “The opportunities secured under this partnership with Trinity College Dublin are hugely important for senior members to enhance their capacities in dealing effectively with technological transformation.”
Trinity Business School director of executive education Michael Flynn added: “Collaboration in the design and delivery of real and measurable professional development for Irish leaders and organisations is central to how we engage in executive education. We look forward to working with ACCA to ensure ACCA members have access to cutting edge short courses.”
