The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Professional Accountants Afghanistan (CPA Afghanistan) have signed a partnership agreement following on a 2015 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The new agreement will focus on capacity building projects and the support of CPA Afghanistan’s growth, which includes mentoring CPA Afghanistan for IFAC membership. ACCA and CPA Afghanistan will also examine the possibility of jointly branded reports and surveys on global topics.
CPA Afghanistan CEO Muhammad Zarif Ludin said: “We are working to bring about high educational and ethical standards, and ensure there is the opportunity for individuals of ability to pursue globally relevant qualifications to enhance their career prospects. All at CPA Afghanistan, the Treasury department of the Ministry of Finance look forward to developing an annual plan of collaborative activities with ACCA.”
