The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) has revealed the election of Taryn Rulton as its deputy president.
Rulton is the second Australian woman to assume a leadership role on the IFAC board, following CA ANZ past president Rachel Grimes.
This follows the appointment of former CA ANZ chief executive Lee White as IFAC CEO in March 2023.
Grimes previously transitioned from IFAC deputy president to president in 2016.
Rulton has three decades of experience across finance, the public sector and not-for-profit entities.
Currently, she serves as chief commercial officer at La Trobe University in Melbourne.
