The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Final 2024, with 11,500 candidates emerging successfully as Chartered Accountants (CAs).

Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad, Telangana and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh have jointly achieved the all-India first rank.

Riya Kunjankumar Shah from Ahmedabad has earned the distinction of being the second topper with a score of 501, or 83.50%.

Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata, West Bengal secured the third rank with 493 marks, which is 82.17%.

The overall participation in the CA Final examination was 66,987 candidates for group one and 49,459 for group two. The pass percentages for groups one and two were 16.8% and 21.36%, respectively.

Additionally, 30,763 candidates attempted both groups, out of which 4,134 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 13.44%.

The exams for ICAI CA final group I were conducted on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th of November, while the group 2 exams took place on the 9th, 11th, and 13th of November.

ICAI in November 2024 declared the results for the CA Intermediate and Foundation examinations conducted in September 2024. 

The foundation exams took place on 13, 15, 18, and 20 September, while Group I of the intermediate exams was held on 12, 14, and 17 September, and Group II on 19, 21, and 23 September.

In the same month, the ICAI signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Skill Education, Central Board of Secondary Education.

This agreement aims to promote commerce-based skill courses, particularly in the banking, financial services, and insurance sector.

The collaboration is aimed at creating new opportunities for students interested in accountancy and finance by enhancing their skills and employability through specialised courses that meet industry standards.
