The SAB Campus of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICA Sri Lanka) has achieved a milestone with the accreditation of its Bachelor of Management Honours in Business Analytics degree programme by the Institute of Analytics (IoA) of the UK.  

This recognition was celebrated at an event where the accreditation certificate was presented to ICA Sri Lanka President Heshana Kuruppu by senior professor Ariyarathna Jayamaha, reported The Sunday Times.  

The IoA, a professional body for analytics and data science professionals in the UK and internationally, promotes awareness and understanding in these fields.  

The accreditation places the SAB Campus within a network of academic institutions that adhere to the IoA’s standards for academic and industry relevance. 

Undergraduates and faculty members of the SAB Campus stand to gain benefits from this accreditation, the institute notes.  

These include eligibility for IoA membership, which provides access to a global network of professionals, career development opportunities, knowledge-sharing platforms, continuous professional development programmes, and more.

The Bachelor of Management Honours in Business Analytics Degree, launched in 2023 by the SAB Campus of ICA Sri Lanka, is said to address the global demand for business analytical skills.  

This four-year degree programme, together with the three-year Bachelor of Management in Business Analytics Degree, aims to equip students with analytical and statistical skills, focusing on problem-solving and the development of innovative solutions across various business sectors.
