
Arizona Western Entrepreneurial College in the US is set to offer a new certification programme in Financial Managerial Accounting.
The Financial Managerial Accounting Associate (FMAA) Certification, which is set to commence later in April 2025, targets individuals aiming to pursue careers in accounting, finance, and business management.
Accredited by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the programme offers comprehensive training that encompasses financial reporting and cost management, equipping students with the ability to analyse financial data, manage budgets, and implement cost accounting techniques.
AWC Accounting professor Dr Kristine Duke said: “I am excited that AWC is able to offer the Financial Managerial Accounting Associate Certification from the Institute of Managerial Accountants.
“This organisation is one of the largest professional accounting associations in the world. This certification is a wonderful addition to anyone beginning their accounting career.”
The certification is said to be particularly beneficial for those seeking entry-level positions in accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and various other finance-related roles.

The course is scheduled to run from 28 April to 28 July 2025, with classes held every Monday and Wednesday at the AWC Reskilling and Technology Center located at 1351 S Redondo Center Dr.
Prospective students are encouraged to register before the first class, subject to availability, with a total course fee of $850, Arizona Western Entrepreneurial College said.
