ACCA has forged a global partnership with Global Growth Institute’s World Class Manager (WCM), offering its members exclusive access to a leadership programme.

This collaboration aims to bolster leadership skills and professional development for ACCA members.

The WCM course, a management training series, focuses on essential skills managers require to maximise their own potential and that of their teams.

World Class Manager CEO Wayne Clarke said: “We’re delighted to combine our strengths and create something of practical value for ACCA members that impacts them, their teams, and the clients they serve.”

ACCA’s Learning platform will host this fully integrated and seamless learning experience.

Starting in January 2025, the partnership will introduce ‘Journeys to Leadership’, a quarterly livestream series.

High-profile leaders from the accountancy sector will share their experiences, providing valuable insights and inspiration through ACCA’s extensive global network.

The 24-module programme features on-demand content and exclusive livestreams with finance leaders.

ACCA executive director of Content, Quality, and Innovation Alan Hatfield commented: “We know how important it is to create finance professionals who are great leaders and have the vision and competency to lead brilliant finance teams. This partnership will ensure our members have access to relevant learning which they can apply in all areas of their careers.”

This initiative follows the recent release of ACCA’s paper, ‘Empowering business: navigating nature-related reporting’, earlier in October 2024.

It is intended to guide accountants on nature-related reporting and sustainability actions.

The International Sustainability Standards Board has also indicated its intention to explore biodiversity, ecosystems, and ecosystem services.
