PwC Academy in Cyprus has unveiled a new educational offering, the Business Professionals Certificate (BPC).  

The programme has been developed in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).  

The programme is tailored to equip individuals with skills and knowledge needed for the current business environment.  

The inaugural class is set to commence in October and will graduate in June 2026. 

The BPC is designed for those seeking to understand the basic principles of business, such as accounting, information management, Cyprus Tax, and Cyprus Law, without the need to pursue a full professional qualification.

including high school graduates and university graduates from non-business disciplines who wish to gain specialised business skills relevant to the Cypriot market. 

BPC will provide opportunity for reskilling, for individuals contemplating a career shift, as well as for those aiming to upskill upon rejoining the workforce after a hiatus, such as after parenthood.  

The 21-month programme is comprised of six modules, each concluding in an examination.  

Participants will be awarded a standalone certificate for each module they complete, and upon completion of the entire course, they will receive the BPC certificate. 

The modules covered in the BPC include Accounting, Assurance & Ethics, Cyprus Law and Corporate Governance, Cyprus Taxation, Management Information, and Data Analytics.
